AADMM professionals encounter ethical dilemmas and challenging boundaries on a daily basis. Dr. Rubin discusses boundary setting for DMMs dealing with ethical issues in daily practices. As a psychologist, her approach is refreshing and unique. Dr. Rubin emphasizes how to manage anxiety and stress that inevitably arises in helping an aging population make money decisions. These financial decisions affect both their clients’ own independence and autonomy as well as their family members access to their finances. Learning how to navigate these boundaries with self-awareness and confidence will benefit DMMs productivity and work satisfaction. Learning to partner with clients more effectively with clear boundaries will enhance the trusting professional relationship that is the cornerstone of this work.

Participants will learn a new way to think about boundaries and how to approach them without fear, as well as how to deal with clients whose cognitive abilities are declining.
