The elephant in the room (or the Zoom, these days) is that debt and credit problems overwhelm people from all walks of life. Productivity, relationships, and health are all affected, at seemingly impossible levels. Whether it is identity theft (credit issue) to not wanting to admit that a debt exists at all, discussing these challenges with clients can be stressful.

Participants will learn how to recognize financial stress in clients, the resources available to assist clients, and how to introduce these resources in what can sometimes be considered a sensitive topic.

Intended Audience: Daily money managers who want to learn more about financial stress and resources available to clients.

Presenter: Jen Lee, Esq.

Jen Lee is a debt and credit attorney and owner of Jen Lee Law, Inc., a law firm with offices in San Francisco, San Ramon, and Tracy, California. She is a leading expert on debt, credit, and financial stress, having been featured in Consumer Affairs, US News & World Report, and other national publications. Jen works to bust the myth that debt and credit problems are limited to those with low income or few resources.
