In an increasingly cyber-insecure world, daily money managers are responsible for the resources they possess. Whether it’s their own information, or the data of their clients, participants in this webinar will receive practical guidance to help them understand how to protect their client data, whether using Macs or Windows computers.

Participants will receive information on important tech tools and methodologies, including resources for backup, data storage, monitoring, cyberthreat and email protection, password management, and basic FINRA guidelines.

*This session is eligible for 1 Credit hour for Standards of Practice, Types of Expenses toward CDMM certification

Intended Audience: Daily Money Managers. While Bergen IT is based in Bergen County, NJ, DMMs can be anywhere in the country or the world to participate. We can also service them remotely should they need our tech support.

Presenters: Costa Rodis & Felicia Halpert

Costa Rodis is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Bergen IT LLC. He combines nearly 30 years of experience in the IT field with a sharp focus on how new technologies can solve the challenges faced by businesses and professionals, including increased security risks. Costa has worked in the IT departments of major law firms, and as an independent consultant and trainer in New York City and in northern NJ. He founded Bergen IT in 2009, and is comfortable with software and hardware, PCs and Macs, Windows and OSX, desktops and laptops, smart phones and tablets.

Felicia Halpert is the President of Bergen IT LLC. She is highly experienced in the digital, operations, project management, and website spaces. Felicia joined Bergen IT in 2013. Her goal is to bring the best in technology support, resources, and security to small businesses, professionals, and homeowners.
