This session will engage money management professionals in considering and discussing when and how to engage an aging life care manager, as well as what collaboration looks like through transitions for an elderly client. The session will explore boundaries between roles, including how to manage potentially conflictual relationships between providers to maintain the highest quality care and service for clients. The session will include lecture, case study, and small group discussion.

An Aging Life Care Manager since 2017, Natasha Faria Smith was previously a teacher and school administrator, then a psychotherapist in various settings. She has conducted trainings on topics such as care management services, advance directives, interventions for memory loss, and EOLD work. Natasha obtained a license as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in 2016. Currently an Advanced Professional member of the Aging Life Care Association. Her passions are family, art, and education.
